Head of People and Culture | Noteless

You will build Noteless’ people function from the ground up - designing the frameworks, processes and culture that let us scale quickly while staying true to our values.
From hiring and onboarding to job architecture, development and compensation, you will focus on what matters now and lay foundations for what comes next as we grow across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- People Strategy & Roadmap – Craft a phased people plan that aligns to company OKRs; sequence what to tackle now versus later.
- Talent Acquisition – Own head‑count plan, employer branding and end‑to‑end recruiting to secure top tech and commercial talent.
- Job Architecture & Compensation – Develop competency frameworks, leveling and market‑aligned salary bands; steer annual review cycles.
- Onboarding & Development – Build scalable onboarding, learning and growth programmes that turn new hires into high performers quickly.
- Culture & Engagement – Champion our values, drive initiatives that foster an inclusive, high‑performing culture and measure engagement.
- Performance & Feedback – Implement a lightweight, data‑driven performance and feedback cadence; coach managers on people leadership.
- HR Operations & Compliance – Craft policies and ensure employment‑law compliance across countries.
- Operational HR Tasks – Manage core HR processes such as payroll, benefits administration, contracts, employee records, and day-to-day support, ensuring smooth operations and consistent employee experience.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in people leadership, ideally taking a tech startup through rapid scale‑up; hands‑on builder who has seen “what good looks like”.
- Experience growing teams across multiple countries.
- Proven expertise in hiring, job architecture, compensation design and talent development.
- Data‑oriented decision‑maker comfortable with HR metrics and ROI.
- Strong communicator and culture‑carrier; fluent English (Norwegian a plus).
