Fonn Group is expanding its engineering teams in our Mimir and Dina product lines, and we're seeking talented developers across the technical spectrum.

The Roles

Senior frontend Engineers

• Create intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for media professionals
• Build responsive web applications using modern TypeScript frameworks
• Implement real-time collaboration features and media playback interfaces
• Drive UI/UX improvements based on user feedback and analytics

Senior full-stack Engineers

• Architect end-to-end solutions from data modeling to user interface
• Design and implement scalable API services
• Build and optimize cloud-native applications
• Bridge the gap between frontend and backend functionality

Senior backend Engineers

• Design and implement high-performance video processing pipelines
• Optimize media encoding, transcoding, and streaming workflows
• Build low-latency, efficient media delivery systems
• Architect robust microservices for media processing at scale
• Develop AI-powered automation for video analysis and processing
• Tune system performance for real-time media operations

Required Qualifications

Frontend Focus

• Expert-level TypeScript development
• Deep experience with modern frontend frameworks
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization
• Experience with real-time applications and WebSockets
• Full-stack Focus
• Expert-level TypeScript development
• Proven experience building end-to-end web applications
• Strong knowledge of both frontend and backend technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms and serverless architectures
• Understanding of NoSQL database design and optimization 

Backend Focus

• Expert-level understanding of video encoding
• Deep knowledge of media container formats and streaming protocols
• Experience optimizing video processing performance
• Strong background in low-level system architecture
• Proven track record building high-performance media systems
• Experience with FFmpeg and media processing libraries
• Understanding of video quality metrics and optimization
• Expertise in parallel processing and CPU/GPU optimization

Common Requirements 

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Track record of building enterprise-scale applications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Technology Stack

• Frontend: Vue.js, React, TypeScript
• Backend: Node.js, AWS Serverless
• Cloud: AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch
• CI/CD: Modern deployment and testing frameworks

Bonus Skills

• Experience with broadcast-grade video workflows
• Experience with Media Object Server (MOS)
• Knowledge of professional media formats (ProRes, DNxHD, MXF)
• Background in real-time video processing
• Experience with WebRTC and live-streaming
• Understanding of HDR, color spaces, and video quality assessment
• Familiarity with broadcast industry standards and workflows
